ECampus DCCCD: How to Register and Login in 2022
Enrollment and registration have evolved dramatically over the past few decades, and they will continue to change in the next few years as well. The new Enrollment ECampus Management system, or EM, will be implement ed at Dallas County Community College District in 2022, and it will change how people enroll and register on campus. The next time you visit a campus of DCCCD in 2022, you’ll use an entirely different enrollment process than the one you use today. Here’s what the registration process will look like in the future once EM rolls out across all DCCCD campuses.
Step 1: Go to the Web site
Steps should include how students go online to Register and Login for classes, ECampus DCCCD. The description of the course should include how students register and log in for classes on the Blackboard DCCCD eCampus website. The step should describe how students and counselors register and log in using their passwords or id numbers from ECampus DCCCD to be able to view available courses and get a list of courses they have completed. Here is where they can find what classes they have completed at prior colleges and will be able to print off necessary transcripts such as their general education requirements or repeat courses that are required because they did not complete them at another college.
Step 2: Enter SSID & Password
The first step for any ECampus DCCCD user is to create an account and log in. To create your account, you need to fill out a simple form with your name, college, and email address. You’ll also need a password of 8–10 characters containing at least one upper-case letter and at least one number or symbol. Don’t forget it! If you do, you will be locked out of your account until we can retrieve it for you. After that, we give new users step-by-step directions on how to register their device by entering a short code along with connecting and authenticating their device with our server.
Step 3. Click Continue
ECampus DCCCD is a free community education program with enrollment available 24/7. To access ECampus classes and learning materials, students must register for an account and log in. To make that as easy as possible for you, we have created a step-by-step process for registration and login. Log-in is required before you can register for classes; so if you haven’t already done so, please create your account here before proceeding with step 3 of 4 below. If you have already registered and logged into your ECampus DCCCD account, you can skip ahead to Step 4 of 4 below Register and Enroll in Your First Course!
Step 4. Choose a Major
For ECCD students, deciding on a major is as simple as enrolling in one course. However, for traditional DCCCD students, choosing a major can be more difficult. In addition to choosing between associate’s degrees and certificate programs, you must also choose your academic department—and that can come with its own set of questions and concerns. Fortunately, our new learning management system (LMS), will allow you to register online quickly and easily—whether you are applying for full-time or part-time classes. In 2022, choosing a major will be as simple as it is today on Blackboard Collaborate and eCampus CERT.
Step 5. View Colleges
Once you have your ECampus account and have created a password, login information will be required when registering for classes. Follow these instructions to register for classes at DCCCD: 1. Log into your ECampus account 2. Select Student Self-Service 3. Select Registration Information 4. Complete all necessary fields as instructed 5. Click Submit/Submit as Planner 6.
Step 6. Add/Drop Classes (Spring 2022)
The college district makes using ECampus DCCCD easy. The software is intuitive and allows students to register for and drop classes easily. However, each semester, a few things are changing; for example, some courses require prerequisites and the office does not allow a student’s schedule to overload. Once all of these restrictions have been placed on an individual’s schedule, he or she might still need to drop one or two classes.
Step 7. Verify Courses Taken (Fall 2021)
Verify courses taken, how you’ll receive grades, and that you’ve completed assignments. This can be done through a portal that allows for login by using your DCCCD-specific ID (ECampus username) and password (ECampus password). You should always be able to check your email through ECampus and Blackboard Learn. If you have questions about your course registration or general information about the courses offered, reach out to an Academic Advisor for assistance. You may also contact Student Services for clarification on your student account if any confusion persists.
Step 8. Submit for Grades
After you’ve registered and logged in, it’s time to dive into your courses. When you click on one of your courses, you’ll be taken to a page where you can view all of your course materials, including syllabi and required textbooks. If there are multiple versions of a textbook, these will also be noted here. Before class starts, make sure that you’ve completed all pre-coursework if applicable. You might even want to set yourself a reminder or two on your phone so that these don’t slip through the cracks while classes are starting up. ECampus DCCCD offers an eCampus app for registration which is available for iOS and Android devices.
Step 9. Logout (Fall 2023)
As you can see, it is very easy to Register and Login with the DCCCD campus. All you need to do is be prepared ahead of time and know what your login information will be like. These guidelines are made for students who are attending DCCCD colleges from fall 2018 through Fall 2023. After that point, students will need their new information for accessing ECampus DCCCD. If you have any questions about Registering and Logging In, call 1-844-380-8090 or email [email protected] and we would be more than happy to help! We can also be contacted if you have feedback on ways we could improve our process as well!
