The iPhone 14 Pro: A Review for Early Adopters

When Apple announced the iPhone 14 Pro in September, many tech bloggers were quick to call it the best smartphone on the market at the time. Many of them compared it directly to its biggest competitor, Samsung’s Galaxy S8/S8+. In this review, I’ll go over all of the important specs and components of this phone to help you decide whether or not it’s worth it to spend your hard-earned money on this device.

Design, Feel, and Quality

The iPhone 14 Pro is designed with care and with an eye for detail. The 5G variant we reviewed had a gorgeous white border surrounding the edge of the screen, adding to its modern look.

You will also be relieved to know that this iPhone is made from a glass body that’s 8 times stronger than regular glass without making it too thick or heavy.

Though there are some minor quirks with the frame design on our review unit, for instance, it would often slip out of our hands due to its slick texture and curved edges when used one-handed.

Display and Technology

The iPhone 14 Pro is the first phone to offer foldable screens, meaning that you’ll be able to carry it in your pocket, then unfold it and watch a show on your commute. This all-new design has been met with some criticism by critics, who worry about wear and tear. One of the standout features of this device is the plethora of new camera modes.

Some modes make landscape selfies easier or even an A.I-powered camera assistant to take the perfect shot in any situation with just one tap. The biggest downside to this phone so far seems to be the battery life, with many reviewers noting that they barely got through a day on a single charge

Software, Battery Life, and Performance

Overall, the iPhone 14 Pro is a great device. Its beautiful design and many features make it stand out from the crowd of competitors. However, I find that this phone doesn’t stand up to its price tag when it comes to software performance, battery life, and features.

For one, there are horrendous interface lag issues that occur for many iPhone 14 Pro users after a new iOS update. These issues are due to Apple’s implementation of an opaque status bar to increase screen brightness for brighter displays such as OLED screens or Super Retina displays with HDR+ mode enabled on the iPhone 14 Pro.

Verdict – Is it Worth It?

The iPhone 14 Pro is the ultimate Apple iPhone for tech-savvy early adopters who are looking for something new and exciting. This smartphone offers the best performance out of any device, a plethora of games and apps to choose from, an immersive display that could only be achieved by nanotechnology, and a design that is both more luxurious than its predecessor while also being more comfortable in hand.

However, there are still some downsides to this device – mainly its incredibly high price tag which will deter many people from buying it. Ultimately, the decision whether or not to buy this iPhone is up to you;

if you have money to spare and want the best smartphone on the market right now, then you won’t regret purchasing it – just remember that it will become outdated in five years!

Conclusion – Should I Buy an iPhone 14 Pro?

Do you want to buy an iPhone 14 Pro? If so, then this is a good option for early adopters. The phone has the newest technology and latest innovations for people who are not loyal to one phone brand.

If you’re not an early adopter and aren’t looking to move away from Android or other platforms, then waiting on Apple may be a good idea. The iPhone 14 is set to launch next year so you can wait for those reviews before making a decision.

Other than that, there are rumors that Apple could release two new phones as soon as October, so now may be an even better time to wait if you don’t have any pressing needs.

If you’re moving over from an older model and just want a new phone ASAP with minimal fuss, then it’s probably worth getting an iPhone 14 Pro. Just know that you won’t be using Apple Pay until next year and there’s no guarantee your apps will work on iOS 15 out of the box.
